A demonstrator wearing a crown dresses up as Queen Governor Hochul while others hold crown shaped signs at a rally and picket against the Governor s recent climate policy announcement outside Hochul s New York City office in Midtown Manhattan. Climate activists say President Trump isn t a king and Governor Hochul isn t a Queen after she announced plans to delay the implementation of a state law set to begin January 1st that ends gas use in new construction. Demonstrators also denounce what they call the Governor s lurch to Trumpism for fast tracking the permitting for a fracked gas pipeline. The peaceful protest is organized by New York Communities For Change, Food and Water Watch NY and NYPIRG - ZUMAr174 20251028_znp_r174_005
